I saw a M&P 340 with a 350 Crimson Trace Grip. How would the Recoil compare shooting standard 38s to a 442 ? Is 650 a ok price. The add says like new and the picture didn’t show a turn line.

Mine is now my everyday carry. Can't tell any difference in recoil to my 442. Big difference between it and 640. I pocket carry and thats where you can tell the difference in weight over the 442.

I responded to his add “ must go tonight”. Now he has to go to a Baseball Game and tomorrow a party. Screw it I’ll keep my cash and carry my 442’s

I bought an M&P 340 on GB a few months back, like new, no box or accessories for $500. I shot a hundred rounds of Academy's Monarch 357 mag, 158 gr, SJHPs which are a little snappy but not painful. Very easy every day carry here in the South Carolina summer days. I weighed it empty in the photos and 5 rounds adds about two and a half ounces for a total of 18.6 ounces. The Pachmayr compac grip is heavier than the S&W grips but they fit my hands well.

The bottom line is if you have to use it you will not notice the recoil, I know b/c I’ve been “there”. That being said you will notice it on the range but realistic practice is important.
