M&P .40 compact

Anyone have any ideas, suggestions for good holsters that my .40 compact would ride well in? I spend equal amounts of time driving my truck and riding my Harley and I prefer OWB carry. Thanks for any help.

I've got a Bulldog Rapid Release paddle Holter that I'm really liking. I've been carrying my 40 compact in it for a month now.

I like the Galco Combat Master. It rides high and tight. It's worked for me in guns ranging from a shield to a 1911.

Are you looking leather or plastic?

On your Harley I’d consider something with active retention like a thumb break. That way if heaven forbid you go down at least your gun is still on you and not skidding down the road. It has and does happen to MC riders with open top holsters.

Quite a few of the Safariland models have a positive retention: the #578 Pro-Fit works for quite a number of different makes & lengths as well.

I carried this same gun off-duty and the "Mitch Rosen President Express" suited me very well. I personally prefer a quality leather holster over any of the plastics but others have different needs and requirements. This line of holsters worked on other guns and my plain clothes duty pistols were also leather holsters of this line or from Milt Sparks. Good luck with your search.
