M&P 40 Full Size

I just bought an M&P 40 full size with 15 round magazine. The bad news I may have to move to CT now and they only allow 10 round magazines. Is it possible to some how get a 10 round magazine for this gun?

They use the same size magazine. The CA/MA compliant 10 rounders have a dimple on the mag only allowing 10 rounds to be loaded. It's not simply shoving a 40 compact mag into a full size. You're right - that wouldn't work

Actually it seem like they take a compact magazine and stick a long plastic foot extension on it. As far as I know there has always been a 10 round magazine available for the full sized 40 so it can be used for IDPA competition.
