M&P 40 VTAC

Got a line on a very lightly used M&P 40 VTAC at a very good price. I could use a good FS night stand and range pistol in 40 S&W. Anyone have experience with this particular pistol? I really like the flat dark earth finish. How durable is it and does it require any special precautions?

Very durable and no special considerations. If your "good price" is more than 80% of a new black finished gun, it's not really a great price. You are giving up your warranty on a used pistol and they tend to be pretty overpriced new.
