M&P .45 ACP Compact 8rd - Where?

I can't seem to find information or an available S&W .45 ACP M&P Compact. It is the smallest of the .45 M&Ps with an 8+1 mag. The one I am looking for is the one with the thumb safety.

I can't even track down a consistent model number for this one. It's not on the S&W site. They have the 4" 10rd mid-size and 4.5" 10rd full -(which I own)But no mention of the 8rd compact version.

I've read reviews on the gun, with the thumb safety. But I can't locate a reseller or reliable part number.

Note, one site calls the safety free a 109108, the other a 109308. Seems like the same gun, seems like one of the numbers should be a safety version.

Update...
Did some more reading. The Crimson Trace LAser sight is not compatible with the safety version of this gun.
That seems odd. If the safety is on the left side (Right hand shooter), seems like the right side would be clear for the laser. I think it is a reversible safety so the off side "should" be smooth.

Guess I have to call Crimson on Monday.

I believe its #109308. indiana arms in south bend,IN has a 45c with saftey. you can remove the right side saftey and use the laser grip.

#109308 No safety, M&P 45c.

On the S&W website, if you will download the catalog, page 10 lists all the models and product codes.

Thanks for the assist. I ordered the M&P 45C (109308) today. I hope to have it later this week. It should compliment my full size M&P 45 very well.
