M&P 45 Compact 8rd - LaserMax

I am looking for a laser sight for the 45 M&P Compact, 8rd mag. The Lasermax says it needs 1.75" rail. That is very close on the compact version. Anyone using one on the compact? (4" barrel")

Crimson race for compact does not fit the 45.

Update, I got word from Lasermax that it does not fit the M&P Compact models.

Anyone have ideas for a good, low profile laser for a M&P compact with 4" barrel?

Are you dying to have a rail mount? Otherwise, try the CT. I have one on a 9c and like it.

Keep your powder dry and be patient Mike. I can't believe they'll let as popular a gun as they've become go too long without producing a product for it! It took them a while to do a short, soft, covered back strap for the J frames too. But once C/T did, it became the industry standard. Don't forget that a rail unit makes holsters problematic? Not so with the grip mounted models.
