Do you all run your M&P's really wet with lube? Mine is still hanging up right before going into battery on a full mag. The gun was really lubed when I traded for it, I shot 3 mags through it without a problem. Then I cleaned it real good and I don't generally lube my striker fired guns that much so here I am now. I could just lube it up real good and try it out, I probably will tomorrow morning but I figured I would ask here and see what's normal. Thanks!

Not too sure about really lubed in the owners manual on Page 23 that states "There are seven (7) lubrication points where a single drop of
high-quality firearms lubricant should be applied. This will ensure
proper lubrication. Care should be taken not to over-lubricate.
Excess lubricant can collect quantities of unburned powder and
carbon residue, which could interfere with proper functioning of
the pistol (FIGURES 24 & 25).

I use automotive disk brake caliper grease on mine, as well as all my semi-autos. Have not had a problem like you describe.

I lube most of my semi auto's on the rails and barrel hoods. Works well in my experience but not this time. My wife's M&P 9 does fine with minimal lube. Hmm. Thanks for the replies,

Well I cleaned it again and lubed it per factory suggestion. Took it outside and shot a box of 50 PMC with no problems! Woohoo!!
