M&P 5" Barrel in a 4.25" standard FS

Does anyone know if a M&P 5" barrel will fit in a standard 4.25" slide. I'm interested in a 9mm conversion barrel for my FS .40.
I saw a M&P Pro 9mm conversion barrel on ebay for a good price and wondered if it will work.

It will physically fit, but I'm suspicious of the accuracy. The stock barrels are larger at the muzzle. When I put a 5" barrel in a 4.25" slide it seemed to me that the barrel felt pretty loose. I did not shoot it in this configuration so can't be of any help there.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I forgot about the bulge at the end. I bet the accuracy would really suffer. I'll stick with the 4.25" barrel instead.
