I have been looking for a OWB holster to fit my M&P 9c with ambi-safety with no luck, Safariland and Bianchi both tell me they make no holsters that will work with the ambi-safety M&P.

Anyone in here have any suggestions or have a M&P 9c with the ambi-safety with a good OWB holster they can recommend.

X-Concealment. Most are designed to place the firearm safety back into safe mode when re-holstering.

A holster that puts the gun into safe mode? That's interesting. I would think you would want to put the safety on yourself prior to holstering.

Agreed, but if you happen to forget, the kydex sweat guard will place it in "safe" mode for you. It's a pretty cool feature. My taser holster does the same thing.

I have been using Galco concealable belt holster for almost 2 years. It says its for M&P Compact 9/40. It doesnt say its for one with ambi safety but it works fine. Great holster holds tight to body good for concealment.

I just ordered a Phantom holster from Raven Concealment. They don't have the thumb safety in "Quick Ship" so, the lead time is 16-18 weeks. The wait will drive me nuts but, they were one of the few that offered it. I sent an email to Comp-Tac about the thumb safety and haven't heard anything back yet. The Phantom can be set up for IWB or OWB.

I ordered a King Tuck as a temporary holster until the Raven shows up. On Optics Planet, it was listed as a thumb safety model but, the flap that covers the slide ends just past the safety and if I move just right, it clicks the safety off. I thought about cutting the flap but, the stitching runs right through the middle of that spot. I'll just deal with it for a couple more months.
