Picked it up this past Friday. Sent 100 rds. down range with it Saturday.
I was pleasantly surprised by the feel of the trigger after reading all the bad press about it being gritty etc. The reset does seem a little "long" to me and it is not overly tactile. But all in all I like it and it is a keeper. I can now retire the Walther PPKS as my carry gun since its hammer likes eating my hand as much as driving the firing pin home to touch off a round.

My only complaint...dang my fingers got sore loading the mags.

The magazines are very hard to load. After running only a hundred rounds through mine I bought an 'UPLULA' speed loader.

It's the greatest invention since canned beer. :D

You now have a fine carry pistol and I think you develop a technique with loading the mags so that it gets easier.
Lots of fun and luck with your new toy.

Thanks guys..and yes...I did purchase the Uplula magazine loader. My fingers thanked me. Plus I was able to actually get 10 rounds in the magazines. :D

Luv my 9c

I settled on it now (I hope ;) )after many years and a trail of buy/sell handguns.... You will probably be pretty happy with it! With 12 rds in it (in FL) and with 17 rd mags as spares, I don't even carry my beloved Sig P226 anymore....

Paul S: the Uplulu is a nifty gadget to have and use with your M&P 9c mags. Works like a charm.

I just finished a class and the instructor thought I was a wimp for using an Uplula, until he tried to hand load a brand new M&P 9c 12 round magazine. After pinching his thumb and first two fingers he grudgingly said "damn tough spring in that little sucker".

BTW - Congratulations on your 9c. I've put about 2000 rounds through mine in 2 months with only one jam and that was my fault for racking the slide back too slowly at first. The M&P 9c shoots very well for a gun with a short 3-1/2" barrel and I've been shooting at 15 yds and scoring well. At 5 yds and 10 yds, it shoots just like my 4-1/4" 9 Pro. An excellent concealed carry gun.

Congrats on your new pistol!
I am a big fan of the 9c. I got one as a backup for my 9FS, but I find I shoot the 9c just as well and carry it more now. Go figure.
