Hello all. I already have the M&P .45c. I will also be purchasing an M&P 9mm but I'm confused about which model. Should I get the standard or compact model? Is it really that much harder to conceal? I'm more worried about accuracy than capacity.

I don't have either (I have a 40c), but I don't think you really have to worry about accuracy between the 9FS or the 9c. Maybe others here can make comment about the concealability between the two. :)

9c is much better for carry, especially with the flat grip plate on the magazine. Go with the 9c if carry is your main purpose. The 9c is a great shooter.

I have both and they are both excellent guns. The full size is really more of a mid-size and works well for both range and concealment. If you are going to use it strictly for carry, then I would go with the 9C. You can't go wrong either way.

Accuracy is built into the pistol. All you have to do, is live up to your end of the equation.

Try both of them [one by one of course] in your hand. When you do, then you'll know which one you'll truly want. It will feel like it's part of you.

If you can, take the one you select, and then try it in different holsters, at different angles and at different carry heights all before you make the final purchase.

When you leave the store, you should leave with the feeling that you indeed made the correct choice on both items. If you don't feel that way, then don't buy them. It's much like buying a pair of shoes.

If you have the right holster than go with the full size. I only use my compact for pocket carry....

I have both and the FS is significantly harder to conceal. If you already have a full(er) size pistol (your M&P 45c) I would get the compact because size-wise the two are very close in size. The 9c will put you into a different size carry class.

I think the 9c is a great choice for CC and the range. I have owned many brands of full-size 9's, and for some reason, I can shoot the 9c better than any of them. Other folks have tried my 9c at the range, and seem to do much better than the current 9 they are shooting. I'm not easily impressed, having owned close to 80 handguns over 45 yrs., and I'm IMPRESSED. Have fun, be safe.

You asked about accuracy. I have both and am as accurate with the 9c as with the full size. Another vote for getting both. Then you have one to carry and one for home or your vehicle. Besides you can never have too many:)

I just picked my 9 up and now I want the 40 and 45 to go along with it and I havent even shot it yet.:D

whtsmoke the 9 is fun but the 45 acp is a blast, shoots like a dream!!, as for the 9 and the 9c both for me shoot the same I may be a slight better with the 9c for what ever reason.:)

Your Lucky Day

Renagade-I have an FTF buyer for your 45C in Orlando. Call me tonight on the number I left on your PM and I will give you details. I'll send it again in case it didn't get to you. Thanks

PM Problems

I think I see the problem. I have been sending you PMs with my phone number, but they are not showing in my send box. Send me a PM with you phone number and I will call you to explain how I have your gun sold, if you are still interested in buying a 9mm. Thanks
