How do these compare to s&w mags? Just need 1-2 9mm mags to feed my .40 to 9mm conversion for range only use.

I've tried promags before with another gun and all I can say is I won't roll the dice again, they didn't even come close to working.

I have a couple of Promag mags for my Mini-14. They work great. Even so, when it comes to double stack pistol mags, OEM is the way to go.

Ordered 2 from Midway and 3 from ProMag yesterday. As soon as they get here I can FINALLY use the 9MM barrel in my M&P40S&W frame!!!!

Mags have been going in and out of stock at Midway all day today.

I was just able to successfully place an order with Midway for 17-round 9mm mags at 3:55pm PDT today (8/30/13).

Keep checking Midway. You might get lucky.

Just don't shop around with the mags in your cart or you might lose out like I did earlier in the day.

I also got 2 Promag 17 round and (1) 32 round ProMag two weeks ago and used my 9mm barrel in my 40. It worked great except you had to push up on the 32 round unit while shooting or it would jam. Sent it back for exchange. Looking forward to the real thing (S&W).

Midway usa has them. You should probably contact S&W to get magazines for your dept. I don't know for sure but you might get a discount for LEO.
