M&P 9mm Speed loader suggestions ???

The Uplula should always be bought in pairs. As soon as your friends use yours at the range, you'll be down to one. ;)

Can anyone explain how to UNLOAD with the Uplula? The directions/photo on the insert aren't clear to me. Thanks!

Turn the magazine so that rear of the cartridge faces the metal tongue of the loader. Squeeze the loader so that the tongue pushes the rear of the cartridge. With that said, just use your thumb to slide out the rounds. Faster and easier.

"One is none, two is one and three is better" as Clint Smith would say. With that said I should consider getting another because I only have one myself.

I would be careful with your uplula though. I brought my uplula to the range the other day and all my buds had to try it.

I'm still renting guns at the range - meaning I get to try all kinds of nines - and the range requires that I use their ammo - but with a Maglula Uplula I can brun through 50-200 rounds per visit and still be out in half an hour - generally about 1 second per round and effortless.

(For those who are wondering why I rent - I have nines coming in for review - Glock 34, Beretta Px4 Storm, Walther PPQ and M&P Pro - renting other nines as well as closer examinations of this quartet gives me a fairly broad baseline for my observations and comparisons).

UpLula

I have been reading information about the MagLULA UpLULA, and found a couple of places that said it would not work with a S & W 7 round single stack magazine. This would leave out my M&P Shield. Has anyone tried with this size magazine?

Works perfectly with the Shield 9mm. Just used it at the range today.

No clue why it wouldn't work. I use it all the time on all of my Shield mags (9 mm). Never a problem.

My guess is you're seeing some internet rumor become part of the lexicon. Someone probably broke their mag or something by doing something wrong, and without really understanding what happened, blamed the Uplula (because it was new or the only thing they think they changed).

And someone ran with it, posted it on the internet, and it became the truth.

I've never had a problem. Been using it on all of my Shield mags since I purchased my gun and extra mags in October.

There's an adapter for single stack mags. Works flawlessly on all my double stacks (S&W,Sig, Beretta). Not so great on my 1911 mags. Too wobbly. I can image a 9mm being even more so than a .45.

Back when I was still shooting a 1911 I thought the guys using upLULA loaders were pantywaists. Then I bought my first gun with a staggered magazine. Changed my opinion real fast. :o

I know exactly what you mean! :o

Here in CA, we have 10 round limits. However, most mags use the same springs as the "high" capacity mags making them pretty hard to load.

Seems my M&P mags are especially hard for the 1st and last round.

Especially difficult with 12rnd compact mags, which -I am told- use the full size springs. Talk about hard to load!

UpLULA to the rescue!
