I have always loved my S&W's. All of them from my first one the 411. It gets hot here on the beach in SC. I wanted a quality reliable concealed revolver. So after shooting one I purchased an M&P bodyguard. 38 +p. Out of the box tight accurate groups. After 50 rounds the trigger got way heavy then the trigger locked up completely. Couldn't even open the cylinder.
I sent the revolver back to S&W for repair. Easy process and good experience. Well after 50 fantasticly grouped rounds again. Locked up once more. Either this is just bad luck and I got a poorly built one or the taurus poly was a better choice? Any thoughts?

What ammo are you shooting?

Which Bodyguard? The steel or alloy older versions or the so called Bodyguard of today?

How often are you cleaning the revolver?

If your gun is the newer Bodyguard the company has had problems with them from what I read. You’d be better off w/a 442 or 642 IMHO.
