Hi all. Does anyone have and use an inside the pants holster for an M&P Compact 45? Your experiences are greatly appreciated.

I tried it a few times but never did feel comfortable, especially while sitting.I suppose it just takes getting used to.I also have the M&P 45c as well as the full sized M&P 40 that I use for house guns.
I prefer something smaller in physical size that I can pocket carry.
As far as the holster type,I tried an "Uncle Mikes" number 15(Inside the pant holster) for both the M&P's and a few other ones I have tried as well.

Mtac holster by Comp Tac, I carry mine IWB at 4 o'clock no problem.

+1 on CrossBreed. I carry a FS M&P9 in a CrossBreed and I still can't believe how comfortable it is.

I have a S&W M&P45 c 8 rounds. just bought a Streamlight tlr-2 light and laser combo w/ strobe option.
Looking for a holster that will accommodate the light set up. Open to IWB as long as it is comfortable or OWB.
Any help would be great. Thank You.

30+years as a cop. IWB works for a lot of people. Depends on body build. I carry the 45c in a Blade Tech IWB just behind the hip at 4 oclock and it works for me. Everyone is different.

If you don’t want to drop much money I would suggest checking out a Remora holster. I was a little skeptical about a clipless holster but when I tried it I liked it alot. I find myself using it more than my MTAC holster that I paid more for so I guess I would say I like the Remora better than the MTAC.

Thanks Bronco 45. I did see the holster from Blade Tech. I like it.
clcdawg. money is not a problem, not really looking for something cheap. Can the remora hold the 45c with the tlr 2 attached?

Another Crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe vote. Very comfortable and have a satisfaction guarantee. Also one holster fits the whole M&P family.

Ghadaz I am not sure about that you would need to check their website or give them a call. By the way the remora is not cheap in quality just not as much as lots of other brands.

clcdawg. As long as quality is not affected. I will give them a call and see if they have one for the light. Thank you.
