M&P compact 45

Looking for input on who uses this for EDC and how there carring it. I realize its a bit larger than my M&P compact 40 but thinking about getting one. Thanks

I use a desantis speed scabbard owb at about 2:30 or 4:00, depending on cover. Carries very well.

Although I don't have the compact, I do carry the 45FS iwb in a Comptac Ctac holster.

I carry a mid-sized .45 easily in a Milt Sparks Summer Special II or Versa Max, at 3:30 or so. Rides well all day in hot AZ summers.

I have both and the 45c is a bit bulkier, but not so much that it makes all that much difference. Note that the barrel on the 40c is 3.5" and the 45c is 4", and a full mag of 45s are heavier.
I use a Galco King Tuk IWB and as long as I'm wearing more than shorts and a tee shirt, its good to go. But that's true of either.

I sometimes carry a full size 45 OWB in a RGrizzle holster. I haven't had any trouble concealing it. The 45c can only be easier.

I have the 45c and carry it in a old faithful IWB hybrid. Same height and length as the gold standard of carry guns, the G19 and a little bit thicker since its a 45.
Nice thing is at home or if I'm wearing a coat, I'll use the full size 45 mag.
IMO, the 45c is the most underrated handgun in the M&P line.

Enzo, what makes you say its underrated?
Do you mean its the best of the M&P line?
I've got a 9c, 40c and the 45c and I love them all about the same.

My 45c has replaced my Shield as my EDC gun.

My 45c is more comfortable and concealable in my DeSantis Intruder than my Shield is in any IWB holster. The additional handle does not present a concealment problem.

I carry my 45c while bowhunting and can't hardly tell I'm carrying it. I love the thing.

I have carried my 45c everyday since March 3 when I received my CCW. Thinking of buying another one for a spare. It has XS big dot and a Viridian C5. Holster is a AlienGear with a shell I made to fit the Viridian C5. I have a Glock 21 and a M&P Bodyguard 380 no laser. I love my 45 compacted.

I carry the full size in the only Kydex holster I could find, not a lot of holster makers do the FS, IWB now thinking in getting the compact too, on polymer or wide guns I'm using Kydex holsters its a little thinner.

I carry my 45c in a N82 Tactical Pro IWB. Most comfortable IWB I have tried.

I bought my M&P 45c as one choice for open carry. I do so in DeSantis Thumbreak Mini Slide holster (also have a Remora with RFT option for protection of weapon plus easy draw/reinsertion while inside house or vehicle). My limited range time has been a joy with no failures.

I'm In the same boat. In CA, I have the 40c and considering getting either the FS 45 or the 45c before I can't do a stupid sse anymore.... There are so many people that like both its difficult to choose. I love the FDE version. It will offset my collection of black M&P's.
