Anyone shoot these? I think i am going to get one but really am up in the air between the 2. I will probably shoot it more than i will carry it but if they have the same level of reliability/accuracy why not go compact to at least have a carry option. Any experiences would be appreciated.

Recently purchased the mid size 45 and have shot 100 rds thru it. I have full size 9 which is same size and feel as the 45. Like the handling, recoil, and accuracy of this gun a lot, even though still shoot the 9(duh) with more accuracy. For me, I will not carry this gun, so it is a range weapon/self defense purchase. I also liked the looks of the mid size better than the compact or full size, with the barrel length of the two. Guess this is why Smith wedged the mid size in their for folks that want mag capacity, but not barrel length. zorro49

If you get a 45c, you can use a mag sleeve
from CustomCarryConcepts and use a FS MP45
mag in your C. My 45c is my house gun and I keep
the FS mag in it. Two spare C mags when I carry
it. Good luck

I suggest at least trying the CS45 for a carry gun and the Model 4506 for a full size/range/home defense 45acp. Those were my choices after much shopping.

+1 on the CS45, IF it fits your hand. It was too small for mine, so I went with a 4516-3, and this week picked up a 4513TSW. Sweet 45 compacts. Tack driving accuracy, and superb reliability.

I'm not an M&P fan.

CS45/4513/4516 Buy it, shoot it, love it. Regards 18DAI.
