I'm looking into being able to switch my .40 to 9mm and also .22. I've found a "kit" (just the barrel) one place but cannot find anything for a .22lr.

(Also, I really haven't raed much other than the very pro customer statements - which I tend to take with more than a grain of salt.)

Has anyone found a .22lr...or ANY conversion kits at all for the M&P .40?

Thanks,

No, I don't know of any .22 kits.

I'd be leery of trying to shoot 9mm in the .40 M&P because the 9mm and .40 case heads are close, but not identical. You might get it to work reasonably well for range plinking, but I wouldn't trust my life on it. The .357 SIG barrel works in the .40 because the case heads are identical and the same mags work.
Any new barrel might require some fitting for optimal operation.

Contact Tactical Solutions they were supposedly working on a 22 conversion unit for the M&P. They recently anounced a conversion kit for the Glock.

Just yesterday I put a StormLake 9mm barrel in my M&P .40 and it performed flawlessly through the 100 rds or so that it was fed.

This is the sweetest shooting pistol I've ever owned.

I just saw that S&W is bringing out a M&P22 which should be interesting as a training tool for the M&P user
