M&P CORE replacement mounting plates

Hi all, I'm a new member here. I've owned a shield for a few months, and I was so impressed that I picked up a M&P Pro CORE in 9mm earlier this week. I purchased the gun used. At the time of purchase, I didn't realize that the gun was supposed to come with mounting plates that allow you to mount a red dot sight to the slide. I've contacted the seller, but I have a feeling I'm going to strike out...

I have an e-mail in to S&W customer service, and plan to call them this week as well. However, I thought I'd check in with the group here and see if anyone else has been in my shoes. Surely I'm not the only person who has either not received or has lost the mounting plates. Has anyone had luck ordering a new set of mounting plates from S&W?

Alternatively, would someone with a CORE be interested in selling me their Trijicon plate?

hey buddy , i have a core too, i mounted a delta point on mine, if its one of the other plates i have collecting dust id be happy to give it to you, do the research and tell me which one you need....mitchb

Hey Mitch, thanks for your offer! I really appreciate it! We Texans have got to look out for each other!

I sent you a PM. It looks like I will need plate #1, and I will use the supplied screws from Trijicon. You should have used plate #2 and some of the screws from S&W. If you can find the plate, and wouldn't mind dropping it in the mail for me, I would be extremely grateful. I PM'ed you my address.

I purchased a new 9mm Pro Core and then purchased the Trijicon RMR. To my surprise, my weapon was missing the package of adapter plates. Does anyone know how to get ahold of these. If anyone has a spare plate 1, I would gladly purchase it.

I thought my 40 CORE was missing the plates and was trying to figure our how to get them Come to find out they was in the top compartment of the case. Guess they got stuck in there when I got the other stuff out of the lid. Don

I just called S&W customer support and they shipped out a set at no charge.....

Yeah, check under the foam in the lid. Mine was stuck in there and thought mine was missing as well.

Yep that is where I found mine to after trying to mound my DeltaPoint and couldn't as I had no plates. Don
