The .22lr version of the FPC comes in a cardboard box. No carry bag included.

In the box you get three back straps (the grip and the back straps are the same as an M&P compact pistol 15 round size), user manual, S&W sticker, chamber flag (it's shy & not in picture), and the lock.

Here is a closer look at the magazines.

One of the mags loaded. It was stiff getting in round 20 but overall easy to load.

The FPC22 out of the box with no mag weighs in at 4 pounds 1.2 ounces on my scale:

I installed a Holosun 507 red dot on a riser and an angled foregrip. That brought the weight up to 4 pounds 8.2 ounces. That's 1 pound 6 ounces lighter than my 9mm FPC with a vertical fore grip and a Holosun 512t.

I loaded a mag with snap caps and the first ten trigger pulls averaged 4 pounds 9.9 ounces.

More in next post.

The butt stock. The 9mm butt stock is smooth. The .22lr version has a rough texture to the finish.

OK - that's all for now. I will post more once I get to the range and shoot it.

If you've got questions post them.

MSRP is $549 but I'm seeing them for as low as $479.
I bought mine at a local Range USA for $519 plus tax. Ordered online and picked it up the next day. No shipping, little wait.

I'll get to the range this week and if all goes well I'll shoot it in a Steel Challenge match next Sunday

Ran 200 rounds through the FPC22 yesterday.

CCI Mini Mags, 60 rounds, no issues

Federal 36 gr CPHP, 40 rounds, 3 failure to fires in each 20 round mag

Aguila Super Extra 40 gr LRN, 20 rounds, 1 failure to fire, 1 failure to feed

Norma-Tac-22 40 gr lrn, 20 rounds, no issues

RWS Rifle Match 40 gr lrn, 20 rounds, no issues

CCI Standard Velocity, 40 gr lrn, 20 rounds, no issues

Federal Automatch, 40 gr lrn, 20 rounds, no issues

The Aguila I ran was old and when loading I noticed that the lube was dried up on the rounds.
I usually only use the Fed 36 grain CPHP in the blot .22lr I have because they just don't run well in any of my other guns.

Here is the firing pin for the FPC22:

Sorry for the blurry pics it was hard to get focus on the end of the firing pin.

I had no problems with ammo I trust, CCI MIni-Mags and CCI SV. I will keep an eye on this because the depth of the firing pin strike is inconsistent.

Here is how to remove the firing pin from the bolt:

Push in on the firing pin from the hammer side of the bolt to relieve the tension on the retaining pin. You have to push the firing pin in flush with the bolt to drop the pin back in.

I ran a brush with bore cleaner through the barrel and let it sit while I worked on the bolt and receiver. Here are the patches from cleaning the barrel:

Here are the targets. These were shot from 17 yards, 2 MOA red dot sight. The paper plates were free hand fast fire. The other targets were with a front rest as quickly as I was on target. First target has 15 rounds, first five were used to sight in the dot. Target is marked in 1 inch squares.

I'm going to shoot the FPC22 in a steel challenge match on 8/24.
