M&P FPC

Unpacked mine and took it to the steel range. About 200 rds through it so far. 115 and 147 grain with zero failures. Romeo 5 and a set of flip ups. Ringing 2 inch with rapid follow up shots at 40 yds. Mine is a shooter so far, negligible recoil. Planning on adding a sling, and an Ultradyne Comp. Possibly a light. Ordered the comp and a variety of mags.

This thing is fast and accurate as is, and impressed me enough to accessorize extensively to see just how good it gets. Right now, primary go to after my sidearm.

I love mine too but I’ll tell you want. It’s a real pain in the neck to take it apart, clean it and put it back together again compared to a lot of other firearms. It says to slide the bolt in and push it forward and you may have to tap it in to clear the hammer. You can tap all you want the bolt does not go forward unless you push down on the hammer with a long screwdriver or something like that at least mine is that way.

I watched a video on youtube that says to use a dowel. I went to Lowes and bought some dowels.

I took mine apart 2x on Sat. With the dowel and a hammer, it is easy peasy.

Not mine the hammer inside the action sticks up a little bit too much for the bolt to slide over no matter how hard you tap the bolt. I have to stick a long screwdriver inside the action and push the the hammer down, just a tad for the bolt to slide over it. it’s a big deal to do and I don’t want to send it back to Smith and Wesson again. It just gets a little frustrating.

I have one set up exactly same way. It’s a great little carbine to shoot and tuck away till needed. I have same reaction as you
