M&P Front Sight

I have a M&P 5" Pro Series, does anyone know if the front sight is red loctited on or not? I called S&W twice on Friday and one guy said that they are on tight but are just pressed in and not loctited. Called back later and talked to a second guy and he said that it was. ???

Changed a few, never seen one with Loctite.

Just had the front sight off my M&P and it was not loctited. Wasn't all that tight either. At least not compared to a XD. Took longer to set up the sight pusher than to push the sight off. I have taken sights off gen3 Smiths that did have evidence of loctite.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm going to try and remove mine as soon as my new sight arrives from Brownells. I did buy the universal sight pusher from sightpusher.com. Hopefully it works for my 5" pro series.
