My wife’s hand the web of the hand pinches most of the time when gripping her ez shield 2.0 performance center ported barrel . Other than taping the grip safety , is there any other solutions ?

Please see attachment thank you

The old M-40 had a pin under the grip panel that fit in a hole drilled in the frame. Possibly a gunsmith could do that to the EZ. It doesn't need to be a big pin. I don't like the grip safety, I have failure to fire because my hands are too big to reliably depress the grip safety.

The only solution that I know it works is to replace Performance Center's grip safety with a polymer rounded safety from a regular EZ.

You can call S&W asking if they can do this for you with no charge.

Does anybody know where I can buy one from websites ? 380 regular ez shield 2.0 grip safety

I can't imagine why the Performance Center ever designed that grip safety. Hopefully there will be an after market one or S & W will replace that thing.
I just bought my S & W EZ 9mm Per. Ctr. Shield. I haven't been able to get to the range yet but after considerable fondling the web of my hand was a little sore from the roughness and pinching of the grip safety.
I lightly filed (with a fingernail file) the rough top to smooth it out a little.
