Ditto on the Uplula. Works perfectly. Glock also makes a little plastic speed loader with no moving parts for about $6.95. It fits nicely in your shirt or pants pocket, about the size of a lighter. Works just fine on M&P 9mm mags.

B0308, my brother had the same feeling until I bought him one of his own, he loves it as do I:). Period.

I have them both and UpLULA for fast loading but I carry the Glock unit with me.

Just incase you didn't know the UpLula locks closed using the little grey tab. That makes it much smaller.

I have nothing to add except that the UpLula is awesome. Wonder how much range time I've gained by using one...

I use the glock loader, cheap and small.Does the job.

You even have your choice of colors. I bought a pink one because my friends kept forgetting to give my black one back. I found the pink one in my wife's range bag when it disappeared.

I just purchased one of these and I am a permanent convert!! I used a leading competitor's brand which also works well, but after trying this I am stuck on UpLula for good.

Folks:

The M&P 9 range kit I bought came with the Uplula mag loader, thankfully (the spring in the mag is so stiff I wouldn't be able to load it otherwise). The Uplula makes it easy. The issue is when using the loader, I can't get in that last round. Am I doing something wrong? Being in Massachusetts, that means I can only get 9 rounds in my magazine. I'm a new shooter and appreciate your advice.

Aside from dissassembling the mag and checking for any obstructions:

1) Push hard (no, harder than that) when loading the last cartridge

2) Be dang sure your workbench or loading table is solid.

I have had a bit of a issue with the 17th round on my FS9, but it does go in.

Someone gave me a tip on the Uplula. Put one round in using your thumbs, then do the rest with the Uplula. Supposed to keep the mag followers from getting chewed up by the metal tounge on the Uplula. Don't know if there's any truth to it. But I do it now. :)

The instructions actually say to do that to avoid damaging the magazine followers. But who reads the instructions? :D

My shooting partner laughed at me when I showed him my latest purchase (Uplula). Until he loaded his Colt 45 with it.

I read that after I had been using mine for over a year, looked at my mag followers and they didn't look damaged. Maybe it's the way I load the first round, I push the "finger" forward before I push down on the follower, maybe what they're talking about is pushing down the "finger" and then sliding it in. I can imagine that wouldn't be a good way to do it.
