M&P new guy here...

New to the forum, and I just picked up a new M&P 9 with night sights this past Tuesday. A little history, I have been a die hard Glock fan for a long time, but 2 years ago I went to my leo firearms intructor course and shot a M&P 40. Since then I've been kicking the tires on buying an M&P since. Well I finally bought one and so far so good. I am planning on shooting it this weekend. So far, I like that it's not a Glock actually. It has a good trigger, and the grip with the medium palm swell just molds to my hands. If all goes well with it this weekend, I may have to get a compact M&P to go with it.

Welcome to the forum and the M&P.
I've owned mine over three years without any problems.
It fires whatever I feed it, fmj, hp, +P.
I just shoot it and clean it and it keeps on shootin'.
I think you'll like it.

The ergonomics is what sold me on my .45 FS. I was going to get a G21 but just did not fit my hand. Love the grip on the M&P. Only thing I added was an Apex sear and USB kit. Really makes the trigger a lot nicer on the M&P. Enjoy your new toy and let us know.
