Looks like a safariland ALS holster (6378)I have the new GLS holster (5378) which sits closer to the body and is not as bulky, it's a great option for the M&P.

My carry gun is a CORE with Optic

I compete with a 5" CORE with a Delta Point optic where optics are allowed and use a 5" CORE with factory sights when shooting in a no-optic division. I have put so many rounds through those two guns that I decided to trick out a 4.25 CORE for carry with a Trijicon RM-01 optic. The sight has a 4-year battery life, so why not think optic for carry?
All three of my CORE pistols have Apex Tactical Specialties triggers between 2-1/2 and 3 pounds pull. I highly recommend their work.
