My 9mm Shield (named Ninesha) with a finger support and stippling added along with the rest of our extended S&W family. My first car was a Chevy and I have owned a Chevy ever since. Guess that loyalty (and Patriotism) carry's over to my firearms. My better half totes the 38 Airweight BTW. Too small for my 6' beauty's large grip for anything other than PP so we're expecting a full size 9 or 45 M&P soon.

M&P9c noobie here i know this might be a dumb question but im just curious why does most m&p9c i've seen have "STAINLESS" on the slide? Mines dont have it

i wish i could figure out how to include a photo of my m&p 9c.
great fun shooting it, for 58 rounds, until the frame burst in my hand from the take down pin to he mag release on the ejector side. smith and wesson claimed no responsibility for this and offered to sell me a new pistol.
instead i bought a glock and put 400 rounds of the same ammo through it with no malfunctions.
good to know s&w has a lifetime warranty.

ok, that just doesn't sound like S&W.... something's off in your story. I've never heard them refuse to warranty a gun, especially with an issue like yours... were you using something stupid hot like Buffalo bore +P+ or something?

I went to my gun store for some relaxing shooting and looked over at the display case next to me and fell in love and brought home the newest member of my M&P family.

They'll do that if you're using reloads. They normally offer a replacement gun at cost but it's in their warranty that they won't be liable for damage caused by defective reloads. If it was a commercial reload the company that reloaded it often picks up the tab.
