M&P picture thread.

Just picked up my shield yesterday. 9mm with factory night sights, replacing my PM9 that my better half has claimed. Here she sits on my fly-tying desk. Don't mind the mess! Loving this gun!
Hey fellow Mainiac and fly fisherman I like your choices .Beabeau fly shop taught my brother in law how to tie and France's B.and Duane taught for years till she closed the shop.Maybe we'll see ya on the fine waters of Maine :cool:I cleaned and oiled these up for side arms during hunting season :)

Loving the firearm and definitely a bit envious of the fly-tying!

What method was used to add the SF insignia on your great looking gun?
Not being, SF, I wouldn't try to have that added to my firearms. On the other hand, I do have an insignia from my outfit that I'd love to be able to add to my weapons.
So, I'm just curious how you managed to have that added and look absolutely stellar? Would love to hear your reply, I do realize this thread is a bit dated ... still ...

I don't know who was used on that gun but here is a link to one place that will do custom like that. They do the back slide plates and magazine base plates, and will do your custom logo if they don't already have it. I thought they are reasonably priced.

Items for S&W M&P

... the information and the exceptionally quick reply, Steved13. I'm actually pretty surprised at how fast you got this information back to me and am grateful too. Best regards to you, Steved13.

LOL, I have my logo into them and waiting to approve and have them do it for my Shield, and Glock 43. So the info was at hand.

I installed the Apex Flat faced forward set trigger and wow what a difference it made. I decided to retain the original trigger return spring and USB set. The change dropped the trigger pull to an average of 3.6# from about 4.5# and shortened the pre travel and over travel significantly.
This may sound crazy but I think I like the action now more than my "plane Jane" s&w1911.
My only regret is not doing it earlier, now I feel like I have to install it on my M&Ps.
