I picked up this M&P9 CORE this week—I've really enjoyed my 8-year-old M&P40 but my new post-cataract artificial lenses, while giving me awesome distance vision, have taken away some of my near-focus ability, so I'm moving more to optic-sighted pistols. I tried a G17 MOS but between the lack of suppressor-height sights and the different grip angle I couldn't warm up to it.

Just finished the latest round of work on my 40L. I have done a number of builds on 1911's, but this is my first go at Tactical Tupperware. The M&P is an interesting design, I'm enjoying it quite a bit. All function checks are passed and she is ready for test flight.

Test Flight completed today at the range. 200 rounds down range, Blazer 180 grain FMJ, performance: flawless. Very impressed with the Apex Tactical trigger.

Got a great deal on a Police trade in M&P 40. Midway had the 357Sig drop in barrel's on a great sale at the same time. Aim Surplus also had an solid sale on magazines (listed as, and priced as, surplus but they look brand new) too. So, now I have an M&P that switch hits 40S&W and 357Sig and its all in one nice case.

Finally mounted my extra holster to my console like I have been wanting to do. Came out good. And picked up the wife's first carry weapon (Glock 42) She has her class Sunday then filling for her permit.
