Of course they will , and like other compact fullsize combos the full size mags will stick out a bit .

Are there spacers (either from S&W or aftermarket) that will allow a 'normal' (ungapped) grip profile with the compact's grip holding fullsize mag?

These existed for the Beretta 9000, for example:
a full-length Beretta 92 mag could fit in and a smoothly contoured surface was offered by some sort of adapter ring.

I wondered about this. I have a 40c and want a full size 40, but I wasn't sure if the mags would interchange like the Glocks 22 & 27 do. Thanks.

Yes you can get sleeves for the magazines from custom carry concepts.

I have two for my MP 40/9FS. The ad here says
works with all cals. Not for the 45FS/45c
9/40 yes and very well. I am waiting for the
45's. Used mine Sunday with my 9c in an IDPA
match
