I have the Shield .40 and a 9mm shield barrel. I put my 9mm laser cartridge (LaserLyte — LTS Training Cartridge- 9mm) inside the 9mm barrel fits fine but laser strikes are high.
When I use my laserlyte pro (LaserLyte — LTS Universal Pistol Trainer) it does not fit inside the barrel properly when it is as small as it can get. This same laser fits my .380 LCP with no problem. When I put it in the .40 barrel laser strikes are still high.
I have used these lasers with my XD sub 9mm XDm 9mm LCP LCR 38 spl and all worked fine hitting where I aim.
Any idea why these issues are occurring with the shield barrel's? The only thing i noticed between barrel's is the rifling on the shield protrudes out more so than the other handguns.
