Haven't seen any report on the new shield 4 inch
anybody have one if so how do you like it?

So far so good. I also picked up a Glock 48 around the same time. I shot them both the same day last week. As usual, I shoot Smith M&Ps better than a Glock of the same genre. I can shoot a Glock ok but it requires more effort even tho the 48 feels way better than their double stacks. The Smith just puts holes where I'm aiming with far less effort. I have 2 gen 1 shields (9mm). 1 standard and 1 PC. the PC is my 'gold standard' for single stack 9 carry...I just shoot it well. I haven't shot the PC and the 4" side by each yet but I will. The trigger on the PC is a little better but the 4" seems to stay down on the target like the PC does so it should be interesting and fun. If your in the market and like the the 3" model I don't think you'd be disappointed in the 4" version....fwiw...

Had MY 9mm for about a week. Trigger is typical PC M2.0. It points a little better than the 3” version. No necessity to zero the optic. Dead on after installation. Holsters are the big issue. I picked up an IWB from Dara Holsters and it’s an excellent fit. I have a universal fit belt slide from Winthrop that does okay for owb. Only about 50 rounds so far and I like it but not completely sold on it’s superiority to my standard PC MODEL.
