M&P Shield Grip

Has anyone out there tried to enlarge the grip on the Shield. I love the Shield, but the I wish the grip was a little larger like the 9C. Any advise.

Some people here use the Hogue Handall Jr. or the Pachmayr Grip Glove.

I added rubber Talon grips to mine. That's all it needed for me.
If you want a 9c size grip why not just buy a 9c? You're defeating the
purpose of the gun by trying to make it bigger.

I added the Hogue Handall Jr to mine (I add Hogue grips to everything I buy) and it is great.

I put a piece of bicycle inner tube around mine. Worked great and feels much better. The grip as it comes out of the box seems to need just a little filler in the middle for me. Sorta like it needs a palm swell. The inner tube does a ok job of accomplishing that, and was basically free.

What he said - I had a buddy who did the same, had two Glocks, a 19 and a 26, then added mag extenders to the 26 to add rounds and a better grip.

Result? the 26 is now the size of the 19, and still has three fewer rounds.

Get the 9c- a little bigger, more mag capacity, changeable grips.

Yep. I got a Handall Jr. for my Shield. And, I have the Handall (Sr.?) on my USP. Maybe it's a NW thing.

I added a Pachmyer grip sleeve to my Shield & it worked out fine for me. It still carries better than my 40c, so it did not defeat the purpose of carrying a Shield.

The Pachmyer Grip Sleeve made a noticeable improvement for range sessions with my .40 Cal Shield.

I use the Pachmayr grip sleeve with a few wraps of electrical tape under it for added "palm swell".
