Hello everyone,

Wanted to get some feedback on our newest products.

Smith and Wesson M&P (full size and compact) rear slide cover plates. These plates at Machine from 6061 Aluminum, Type 3 hardcoat Anodized. We then laser engrave them. We have a lot of patterns available. if you do not see a pattern, ask, we may already have it done. We have these plates up and ready to go.

S&W M&P Shield Slide Plates

Do you make the S&W M&P Slide Plates for the S&W M&P Shield 9mm / .40 S&W?

Those remind me of those dust covers for the first model 39s. Haven't seen one of those for decades, either.

I am interested in one for my M&P 9C and Shield, but so far I haven't found a place to specify the pistol type. The image that shows on the order is for the full size M&P.

The full size and compact M&P series use the same rear cover plate. The Shield is a narrower plate.

I'm not much for the punisher, or cartoon characters, but I'd love to have one with my initials on it.

How much for one with this: M.T.C.

Do you make the slide cover plates (or does anyone) for the SD series pistols (SD9VE, SD40VE)?

SD40VE SD9VE rear slide plate

i just bought a rear slide plate for my SD40VE and when I ordered it it said it was for a SD9VE. I took my stock one out and put it in my .40 and it seems to fit but I noticed it wasn't exact to the stock piece and also it's supposed to be for the 9mm. Can someone please tell me if the 9 and .40 are exactly the same. I'm not 100% for sure so I would like a little reassurance before I shoot it. I just don't want to take a chance on something bad happening for a decorative piece on my gun. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Except for the striker flying out of the back of the gun and taking your eye out I wouldn't worry about it :D ;)

You stand a better chance of getting an answer by posting this in the SD section, this is the M&P section. I think a lot of members only read the sections that interest them. I've never read the SD section, I've never even handled one. (not knocking them, just stating the facts). Consequently I have no idea how the rear plate is secured. I could assume it's the same as a M&P but that wouldn't be prudent. Maybe one of the moderators will move this thread so you can get some answers from people who know.

Late to the dance (and a new M&P owner). Maybe I missed it; what is the procedure for installing?

thanx.....hugh

Does anyone make these for the new M&P Shield 45? I know there is enough of them out there; the first one to offer it will make a ton of cash.
