M&P trigger complaints..

Has anyone ever wondered why, if the the standard M&P Trigger was so wonderful, howcome the Pro Series was changed to have a superp trigger. I sold these at a local gun shop last year and was amazed at the difference in the feel of the two differnt triggers! I own 5 M&P Products and love them all, but the minute I felt the trigger on my standard 9L, I ordered the Apex dcaek and have never looked back.
As a Former Navy Shooting Team member there is nothing worse than a bad trigger! IMO Its just like some people think the Steak at Sizzler is really a great steak but until you've had one at DelMonicos you have no idea what your missing!
Actually Del Frisco's in Boston has some pretty dam good steaks. (just trying to lighten it up a little)

I have 1450 rounds through my M&P40 and for my first gun couldnt really tell if the trigger was bad or not but, the trigger for me was smooth.

As I shot the gun more it felt smoother and smoother after each round. I say after 600 rounds it really started to feel good.

Other then that for the price I paid Im 100% happy with it. O only had one failure.

Your right it is Del Frescos, Double Eagle steak house,(lol) when I typed that last night my mouth was watering so I misnamed the Steak house! There is also one in Las Vegas and thats the one we go to.

One's a service pistol, one's a game gun. If the market exits, the need will be filled. S&W is brighter than some others, why should someone else make the money for doing trigger jobs for those who feel they're necessary? The standard trigger is certainly acceptable for most purposes, being very similar to an extremely well tuned revolver. My M&P9 is the ONLY stock firearm I own.

The trigger on my 9c is a little gritty, but acceptable to me. My 9 full size is much smoother. Wish I had access to more guns with the Apex kit installed...the only one I tried didnt feel any different than my 9fs. Still on the fence about getting the kit for my 9c. If it improves performance/accuracy for the customer, why not get it done? How can anyone possibly tell if someone is getting the kit just because of "hype". Perhaps some folks do...so what? If you dont want it, dont get it done! It definitely sounds like a lot of people have benefited from getting the kit.
