See if that sounds like it might be similar to what you're experiencing. If it doesn't, I would (not to say you haven't already) take the BCG apart and clean/lube everything again after firing it with the new parts. Remember that the gas tube is a little harder to get lined back in the M&P 10 than other AR-type rifles, so double check that too. I would fire it again and see if it seems like its better, if not I'd probably take it to a gunsmith for a check-up. Don't want to damage it beyond reasonable repair...

Lack of lube with AR's is one of the biggest reasons that they malfunction. I would check the gas tube alignment also.

Did you gap the gas block from the barrel shoulder, the width of the stock forend clamp?

Mine had very minimal headspace to the point where unfired in-spec military rounds were difficult to extract. Had to "mortar" them out early on but it cycled perfectly when fired.

Sometimes it's better to shoot stock quality ammo in a stock quality rifle a while before "improving" it. Mine runs just fine with a scope I had lying around and a spare GI nylon sling...

Check the gas block, if I remember right someone on here measured the gas port location and without the hand guard piece and was ok to install flush without a space. I measured my low profile gas block and the hole was large enough to be install flush. If the gas block checks out just keep shooting it and lubing it, mine would short cycle when I first got it. Now after about 300 rounds thru it I don't have any issues no matter what I put in it.
