Hello,

I recently picked up an M&P10 and am currently reading data related to free float rail systems... I see that there is a high level of compatibility issues, I see that the troy rail works well but can be loose and wobbly, I see that the Midwest industries DPMS pattern 308 rail fits and for the most part has good solid reviews,
here is what I can't determine, Will the Wilson combat DpMS 308 trim rail fit the MP10? Wilson's website references DPMS- Hi profile?Lo Profile? but is somewhat unclear..... I'm drawn to the Wilson rail because of the way the barrel nut and rail lock together tightly, its design leaves little room for "Wobble" and I'm sure it would remain tight over 100's of rounds without loosening.

Anybody have experience with this? Pics would be nice..

Thanks

The M&P10 uses the DPMS low profile rails so if you find a rail that says it will work for DPMS low profile it will also work on the M&P10. I put the Midwest Industries DPMS low profile(.150 Upper Tang) it did require the longer ejection port rod because the barrel nut that comes with the MW rail didn't come back quite as far as the stock barrel nut.

I put an AP Custom carbon fiber rail. Expensive, but the lightest on the market. Great looking. Sorry, but need to figure out how to post a pic.
