M&P22 Compact Trigger

I took the slide off of an M&P22 Compact today and the hammer and sear engagement is very much like the Walther M&P22. It's about a ten minute job to smooth out the hammer contact surface to make a three pound trigger on either one.

When I got mine, the trigger pull was 5lbs. After the smoothing and anti-seize, it's now about 3.5lbs.

Thanks for the link. My trigger feels gritty sometimes but not all the time. After I shoot mine some more, I may try your fix.
