Hello all, I'm considering an M&P40c to go along with my M&P45 FS as have a question. What the heck is the difference between the 109003, 109203, 109253 & 109303? there is nothing on the S&W sight that differentiates the models.
EDIT: Oh sorry the 109253 is listed as having a 10lbs trigger pull instead of 6.5 like the others.

109003 = MD compliant, mag safety, internal lock, no thumb safety
109203 = CA compliant, mag safety, no internal lock, no thumb safety
109253 = MA compliant, mag safety, no internal lock, no thumb safety
109303 = no mag safety, no internal lock, manual thumb safety

There is another model you might want to consider.

150955 = Talo Edition. no mag safety, no internal lock, no thumb safety. it comes with one 10 round mag and one 15 round mag with the Xgrip included.

This is the one I'm getting when I get all my pennies saved......

Yeah I saw that one too. I think that's the way I may go. Funny thing is I am not a fan of 40S&W. I do however like 9mm and .357 Sig so this will get all the barrels and mags.

I am thinking of the 40C as well. I have the 9C that I carry EDC when I can get it away from my wife. I love the gun. I used to have many .40 guns from the time they were first available. I have been changing over to 9mm as I get older for the recoil reduction and faster repeat shots - I think the M&P series is one of the best designs - but the ability to change over to 9mm and 357 Sig with just a barrel and use my 9C mags is appealing.
