I wouldn't beat myself up over this. There is a chance they wouldn't ship to CA (lot's of companies don't even though they could). After you get it, just put a lot of rounds through it and every shot you make, the memory of this will get farther away.

yeah and if the did ship to cali, there would be an additional SSE fee from the FFL so it might have been a wash. thanks for the consolation
