My m&p9c has had about 100 rounds threw it and twice on the last round in different mags it failed to feed? The round got stuck between the mag and slide. Anybody know what could cause that? Thanks.
Suggestion: try a different brand of ammo next time. Doesn't really matter which. Perfecta is low end, and some guns don't function well with some brands of ammo. I haven't shot any Perfecta, but I have read about others having issues with it. If the same thing happens with a different brand call S&W and see what they say.
I will try some winchester this weekend. Also, on one of the mags the slide didn't lock back after the last round. Could that be related to the follower or the spring?
I have a 40c. The only ammo it has failed to feed is Perfecta. Like a fool I bought 3 boxes and the only thing it is good for is practicing clearing malfunctions. It's great for that.
I have put 400 or so rds of Perfecta through my 9c with no problems at all. It eats anything I feed it including PPU, Monarch, Federal, Remington, and WWB and Horandy. Never had any problems. All guns seem to differ in what they like so I agree, try some other brands.
Only issue I've had with the 9c is whitebox will sometimes not rack the slide back on the last shot (it still fires and ejects). I've had the same problem with my shield using the same batch of ammo, and never even had an issue with whitebox before. So far its eaten everything else nicely.
I have had similar issues with white box with my 9c. The last round does not feed and the trigger does not reset. If I tap the mag, it moves into battery. I have a lot of play in my trigger so I am wondering if that is an issue. I have it at a gunsmith for an inspection and cleaning. This is the first time in 4 years of carrying this gun that I am having this issue. I hope it is something really minor.
