I wanted a carry gun, so I picked up a M&P9c to go with my Sigma. I like the feel of it.
I hope to shoot it tomorrow

Nice looking gun there. I have yet to even hold an M&P Compact, but I am starting to think I need to find one and shoot it. Which will, of course, lead to me owning one. Which will, of course, lead to me buying more ammo. Which supports the economy, so really it's my duty as an American to get an M&P Compact. Yep, fully justified.

I predict that you're going to like that M&P9c as much as I like mine.

mlk18, That is why I got it in 9mm, I try to have multiple guns in each caliber and keep trying (not always successfully) to keep down the number of calibers I have. That why 9mm not 40.

Anyhow, I think Red Tex is right I will love it, although my first loves are revolvers, especially Victory's.

I got one of those tonight myself...M&P9c I mean. I wish both the mags had the extended baseplate...the one without it makes the grip too short for my hand. I guess you can buy them.

Call S&W, they will often send you one free of charge

I just traded my Glock 27 for M&P 9c yesterday. I'm really looking forward to going to the range and trying it out. So far I've been real happy with the 9FS ( replaced my 23) and 45FS ( replaced my 21)that I've gotten so far.

Just bought an M&P9c with the Crimson Trace Laser Grips....love the gun and laser grips....makes point shoot so easy....also a great instructional tool to observe quiver and muzzle movement when trigger squeeze is off.....called Smith to inquire about the floorplate with finger rest for the mag....they are sending one out in the mail....can't beat that...

Bought one on Monday from Buds (should be here tomorrow).
For some reason they dropped the price for about a day to $436 delivered and I was lucky enough to be doing my price search at the time. Just checked yesterday and it was back up to $535. So after FFL and the $50 rebate, I'll have spent just over $400 on it.
Can't wait to pick it up, do a quick cleaning and hit the range.
