M12-2 date help

Hi new to the Forum, Great to be her !


Just picked up a m12 -2 serial D477045 trying to date it.

marked "USAF" on left side, blued came with an aircrew/ silo holster. Thin frame alloy.

Having a hard time getting a DOB on this puppy.

Any help would be greatly received !

It was shipped between 1972-73. Hope that helps, that's as close as the book gets.
