Price check on a M13-2 Nickel. Grips are numbered to the gun. Rate about 95+%.
Thanks in advance. Don't dabble with the "K" frames much.

My somewhat WAG is $400, assuming a 4" barrel. Plus or minus $50 depending on your regional variations.

A 3" barrel round butt would bring a higher price...

KKG,
Happy to provide additional info. This is a M13-2 4", square butt, pinned and recessed, 95% original nickle finish remains. Probably closer to 97% but would rather error on the side of conservative. Grips are near perfect and are numbered to the gun.
Thanks again for the info.

In my area, about $400 would probably buy it. We have, of course, those dealers who try to hit a home run on every single gun, and some of them would try for about $500.

After they have had it "forever," they sometimes come to their senses and get more reasonable. Sometimes!

I would look at it this way:

If you paid
$300 ... you stole it
$350 ... you got a darn nice deal
$400 ... fair enough
$450 ... who knows, it may be worth it
$500 ... well... it will be worth that much some day
over $500 ... he saw you coming a mile away...

Thanks guys. I think I'll probably have this one lettered by Jinks and this is why. I think it may be an unmarked NYPD gun or FBI issue. On the crane, (not where the model number is stamped) is marked 5x##x. The only other gun I have that is marked in this way (not the same numbers) is my Michigan State Police issued M38.
Just thought it interesting. Thanks again!
I won't bother telling what I paid........I'd hate to loose "friends" on the forum

Now that is a good answer. If someone wrote a book on gun values as complete as that and in those terms, I would run out and buy it.
