M16 .327 MAG

I, like another here, purchased a M16-4 in six inch barrel and had the cylinder reamed to accept the .327 case length. I love it. I like it better than the .327 in its little frame.
I am considering purchasing another M16 and having the barrel cut to 3 or 4 inches because it would be a better carry piece.
I like the little .327 a lot.
Your opinions matter.

I did the same thing with my 16-4. Now we both have to hide from the nay sayers, who will tell us we "ruined" a collector gun by not leaving it in the original chambering. Pooey on them is what I say.

Your revolver, your choice.

I am the proud owner of a 16-4 6 inch that I bought new shortly after they came out. I love it. I wouldn't hesitate to have the cylinder reamed for the longer case, but I might worry it could impact the accuracy I enjoy currently.

But I tend to be a person that will pay to buy what I want, rather than make what I want. I just feel like I come out $ ahead. But in your case there is no buy option, so do what meets your needs.
