M2.0 Full Size Replacement sights

If you still have good eyesight and are looking for more precision for range shooting, try covering your dots with some electrical tape to get black sights. Target shooters use such sights today for precision. You can remove the tape of course.

I believe simpler is better for your brain/eyes. If plain black sights work well, then look at upgrading by getting a taller, narrower black front sight with a taller, wider black notched rear sight. Easier to align and see more of the target. Great precision.

I ruin hiviz fiber optic sights on mine. Black in the rear, red in the front. I also have an inforce apl-c light in it in case I need it in the dark. I have a shield 9mm with factory night sights and a streamlight tlr-6 on it as well, but I didn't want night sights on my 2.0.

I'm still trying to figure out what company makes the night sights on my LE trade in M&P .40. I have posted the same pics of the sights several times and have asked about them, but I guess no one knows.
My gun was made November 2015.

the sights in the pic are factory. if they have tritium then they are milled by S&W and then likely sent to trijicon for the tritium inserts. Most manufacturers use trijicon for their tritium inserts because its radioactive so the regulation gets to be too much to have a whole bunch of people out there doing it. trijicon has been doing it so long that it makes more financial sense for most companies to to just send to them.

I just got the new M2.0 with the TruGlo TFX' so far I like them. Having tritium and fiber in the same sight is definitely useful. But I also have Trijicons on my M9A3, Ameriglo Bolds on my 19 and the stock Glock nights on my other Glocks. In low light they are all equally good. Another aspect to consider is the sight profile itself. The TFX' have a fairly low smooth profile, the Trijicons have a tall sharper profile, the Ameriglo's are in between the two. So may like or dislike certain profiles for carry if you carry the firearm. Then of course there's the cost aspect...
