M29 SN S193xxx - need help with value!

Have an opportunity to buy a older M29 dash nothing SN S193xxx which is in maybe 85% shape give or take a % or two. Have not seen the gun yet but it is described as having holster wear and a timing issue. Has original cokes and is a 6 1/2" gun. Need to know an approximate range for a value so I know what I might offer. Thanks for your time!

85% is a subjective number. I just paid $600 for a well worn 29-2 4 inch gun.
Timing issue would knock the price down a lot, depending on the severity of the timing issue.
You migh consider the cost of mechanical repair as being a 100-200 dollars.
I would suggest that you keep looking and find a better condition gun, unless you really want this one and are also a good gunsmith. You will have to spend extra money to make this a usable gun.
