I just got one as a part of a trade and usually I am a N frame .44 guy but darn this TRR8 is sweeeeet. I expected it to say .357 "8 times" like other PC 8 shot revolvers I have seen. If I want to put some combats on it, is it just a regular K frame?

The 327 TRR8 is an N-frame revolver, not a K-frame. K-frame grips will not fit.
Scandium is the greatest thing to happen to N-frames since Stainless Steel. It takes the weight of the big boys all the way down to what a model 19/66 would weigh.

My TRR8 is one of the seldom seen semi pintos. It has the nickel hammer, trigger and cylinder release with the polished barrel flats. I have put older factory N-frame combats on it and I love it.
