M57 Classic

Might be a dumb question but I have not seen one in person. Are the firing pins frame mounted in the new "classic" line? I am considering a M57 and everything I find in my price range is of that variant. I'd rather have an original but they aren't usually $700 (which is the cheapest one I have found so far).

I believe they are . I have a 29 classic and it's frame mounted .

Yep, they are all frame mounted but don't worry they work just fine.

Thanks, guys, just wanted to make sure. I have not really heard an awful lot of complaints about the new ones except for the fact that they are not old, and they have the lock (which doesn't bother me).

When you get past all of the noise about the lock, MIM parts, and all the rest the new guns shoot just as well as the old ones. At least the ones I have do.
