I just recd this box at my FFL with NEW unused gun

However, twas my thought that this was sposed to ship with 3 moonclips

None there

Concerned that Buds Guns will not honor that

Do I ask SW directly or fight with Buds

Bud's has a terrific reputation; not sure I'd approach them with a "fight" mentality.

As you've done here, explain your understanding of what was supposed to come with the gun (3 clips), and that they weren't there. See where that goes.

You need to check the interior of the box very closely. Mine were taped like under the foam.

Never dealt with Buds personally but my experiences in life have taught me no one enjoys getting a mouth full and you can bet these gun dealers hear it day in and day out.

I do my best to approach calm and rationally. When that fails I cut it off and look for another avenue as I had to do with LaserMax when they tried to put the screw to me.

We should always check our purchases carefully at retailers, not only at LGS's. It is not uncommon for accessories to be "appropriated" from shipping cartons somewhere in the pipeline between mfgr and retailer. Another poster said this happens all too often with optical gear. Happened to me 2X. I hate this type of chintzy business.
